 And again we went to Xhoffraix.

No more walks for me, i'm 14 years old and i can no longer follow. But Boss and his friends went anyway. I stayed at the house with Nadine.

But no worries, i still marked each tree i could find over there.

 12,5 years old, and boss still wants me to walk like i was a young dog. Around 70 km in a week is not bad!

28.11.2021 Weekend Xhoffraix

This weekend we went to Xhoffraix. A couple of years ago this was the ECB weekend, but this no longer takes place. But we and a couple friends of Boss still go each year. This is the first time i'm the only eurasier in the house. Haska (eurasier female owned by the friends who were with me) has gone over the rainbown. 

We were lucky, there was some snow in the "Ardennen".

 We went for a week to the eifel. Walked almost 70 km with Boss. Not bad for a 11+ years old dog i think.

ECB Weekend in Xhoffraix

Just back from our yearly eurasier weekend in the "Belgian mountains". We booked a big house, but this was not necessary. Not a lot of ECB members were interested this year. Strange, in the past years we always had a fully booked house, this year we only found 6 people to join. But this does not mean we did not enjoy the weekend.
Some of us (among them me and boss) walked 37 km. See the pictures of our weekend below.

Long time no see

Now we have really neglected the blog. But there is not a lot to write. We do our usual things : guard the house, each day a little walk to the park and on Sunday a bigger walk. Each month we participate to the eurasier activity. Below some forgotten pictures :-)

hollidays in Hochsauerland

Yearly vacation. This time we went to Hochsauerland. And yes, the name is correct, higher mountains than the Eifel and the Ardennes.
Gps told boss it was a 5 hour drive, but a the end it took us almost 8 hours to get there. German traffic is almost as bad as in Belgium. Meanwhile we know "stockender Verkehr" in a message means troubles on the highway.
But we got there, and the region is fantastic to make long walks (with a lot of height meters). After 3 days we already had around 50 kilometers, but then the good weather (+ 30 degrees) slowed us down. (at least, this was the reason i got from boss, not sure this was completely correct, if you ask me, his legs no longer wanted to walk). So we changed our program : morning = walking, afternoon = visit something in the neighbourhood. I can live with that.

Some news

I know we have not posted things since a long time. Everythng is ok over here. Meanwhile i became 6 years old, and we have celebrated this with a very long walk and a well deserved rest afterwards :-)

I'm still the best friend of misses and boss and i'm still not the easiest and most obedient dog, but my family is pretty happy to have me, so all is well, or not?

Vacation in the Eifel

We went to Blankenheim in the beautiful Eifel. During our stay Angelika came to visit us and we had a wonderful walk togethet with my mom and sister.

last Sunday we went for a walk to Roesbrugge. I could go of the leash almost the complete walk. During our "drinking" stop, i found some new friends. The little girl loved petting me.

I also went to the vet. Boss was happy with how acted there. I was afraid, but not too much. The vet took some blood to examine. Some results were not ok, and boss asked to do the tests a second time. Seems there was something wrong with the first tests. I'm in good shape!

we went with ECB to Essene. Walking was good, but once we stopped, i was somewhat irritating. Boss was a little disappointed.

Some news

here i'm back.
First the normal "walking" news. As usual you can click on the pictures to see more
We had our yearly ECB weekend in xhoffraix.A lot of fun, but from time to time some stress also. Meanwhile boss has learned to separate me from the other dogs when i'm getting to exited. So i don't know very much about what happened inside the house. But no worry, most of the time we were walking in the Belgian mountains.And most of the times all went well. Of  course the humans have to pay attention. Aiko was there, and although i already learned starting a fight is not good, with Aiko it will never work out. When we see each other, we will fight, that is for sure. Boss always tries to take care we are separated, but once i a while.....





We also went to Bazel with ECB. A short walk (great) and afterwards a looooong meeting. People want to talk about how ECb worked the last year and how they will work in the future. Boring!!!



And then some other news. Since little misses has left the house and has bought a dog of her own, boss has a problem when he has to leave and i cannot join him. But he found a solution. A couple of friends volunteered to take care of me during his absence. And so i went for the first time on vacation in a strange house with strange people. (not really strange people, i know them since a long time, but anyway....). And guess what.... everything was ok. I kept my cool and i even enjoyed the short stay. Yes, i will go back when necessary.

I also went to the vet. Don't like it, but boss says i have to :-( .
I received my yearly vaccinations and they also took some blood to examine. I was (of course) a little scared, but boss told me i did well!

At last, some more news

Long time since we posted some news. Not a lot of  things to tell. Of course we still go out a lot with the eurasier club or just me and boss. below this post you can find the links to the pictures.
Since a couple of months i became afraid of a lot of things i usually accepted as normal, no idea why i'm behaving like this. Boss is working on it, he takes me with him to socialise me again, but he will need a lot of patience.

Mortagne forest

We went  for a walk in Zwevegem, in the Mortagne forest. Not a big walk but pretty funny. A lot of rabbits. We made a little contest, me against the rabbits. result : i lost with 100 - 0. They are just too fast (or i'm too slow). But giving up is not an option. even if the chance to catch one is almost zero, i will keep trying!
