Some news

here i'm back.
First the normal "walking" news. As usual you can click on the pictures to see more
We had our yearly ECB weekend in xhoffraix.A lot of fun, but from time to time some stress also. Meanwhile boss has learned to separate me from the other dogs when i'm getting to exited. So i don't know very much about what happened inside the house. But no worry, most of the time we were walking in the Belgian mountains.And most of the times all went well. Of  course the humans have to pay attention. Aiko was there, and although i already learned starting a fight is not good, with Aiko it will never work out. When we see each other, we will fight, that is for sure. Boss always tries to take care we are separated, but once i a while.....





We also went to Bazel with ECB. A short walk (great) and afterwards a looooong meeting. People want to talk about how ECb worked the last year and how they will work in the future. Boring!!!



And then some other news. Since little misses has left the house and has bought a dog of her own, boss has a problem when he has to leave and i cannot join him. But he found a solution. A couple of friends volunteered to take care of me during his absence. And so i went for the first time on vacation in a strange house with strange people. (not really strange people, i know them since a long time, but anyway....). And guess what.... everything was ok. I kept my cool and i even enjoyed the short stay. Yes, i will go back when necessary.

I also went to the vet. Don't like it, but boss says i have to :-( .
I received my yearly vaccinations and they also took some blood to examine. I was (of course) a little scared, but boss told me i did well!

At last, some more news

Long time since we posted some news. Not a lot of  things to tell. Of course we still go out a lot with the eurasier club or just me and boss. below this post you can find the links to the pictures.
Since a couple of months i became afraid of a lot of things i usually accepted as normal, no idea why i'm behaving like this. Boss is working on it, he takes me with him to socialise me again, but he will need a lot of patience.

Mortagne forest

We went  for a walk in Zwevegem, in the Mortagne forest. Not a big walk but pretty funny. A lot of rabbits. We made a little contest, me against the rabbits. result : i lost with 100 - 0. They are just too fast (or i'm too slow). But giving up is not an option. even if the chance to catch one is almost zero, i will keep trying!

Some news

I have neglected this blog for quite some time, but here is an update of my activities since the last page.
We have been pretty busy.
First of all we went for a walk with to Buggenhout. Good walk, but we had to stay on the leash. Too many rabbits in the neighborhood. But it was fun and i kept quiet. Lupo was with us, this is really a crazy eurasier, always in for a lot of fun!
We (me and boss) also did a lot af long walks.
One of them in the pouring rain to the "Galgenbossen" . Normally i try to avoid puddles, but once i'm really sodden, i don't care anymore. When we came home from this walk, misses really panicked!
On another walk, boss told me this was a long one, he talked about 3 to 4 hours. But he somewhere missed a turn and we were totally lost. It took us 6 hours to get back to the car. I was a little tired, but boss really has had it.

Boss has also changed the layout of the blog. I think it looks better now, but this is just a matter of taste.

Essene

Again we went for a walk with our Eurasier gang. good walk and what is even better, Boss was very pleased with my behaviour. I did not started a fight, I was nice towards the other dogs (males and females) and even in the pub i was pretty calm. I have to add there was not a lot of male competition, only Lars (a very quiet young male) and Bono ( a neutered male), but anyway, Boss was glad to be able to have a walk without troubles.

ECB and other walks

We went to Bazel with ECB. A lot of male dogs, but i kept my cool this time. During the walk i was pretty quiet. Afterwards there was a meeting in a romm of the restaurant. This was too much for me. So i ended up in the trunk of the car.

I also went to sea with my boss. A lot of sand, and boss did not liked it. It was hard for him to walk in it. For me? No problem.... as fast as ever, sand or no sand.

Meanwhile i celebrated my birthday : 4 years old.
Yesterday we went to Torhout, the castle of wijnendale.

The 4th ecb weekend

We want again to Xhoffraix (de hoge venen) with Eurasier Club Belgium. A lot of dogs in one house, this is not that simple for me. As long the other dogs are females, it is ok, but there were also males, and as you already know, this is a problem to me. So we walked a lot in the beautiful Belgian mountains (?). Once in the house, I started fighting and boss did not like this. So I ended up in the bedroom. This was not so bad, there I could rest and prepare for another long walk. We even went for a little walk with misses!

I know, it's a long time ago since i posted something. But here it is...

First of all we went to the Galgebossen. A lot of mud!





Then we went for a walk with ECB to Kluisbergen. Boss was pretty satisfied with my behavior.

More walks...

And another walk, "Mortagne wandeling" in Spiere. reason of all these walks on sunday morning : we no longer go to school. some weeks ago i just refused to cooperate. No sit - no down - no come - no nothing. At that point in time, boss was pretty angry and disappointed. He decided to no longer go  to school (at least for a while). And i'm punished. I now have to go for a long walk each sunday morning. I like to be punished!

We also went to sea.... Boss is really very angry... I even have to go to the sea!

And with ECB we went to Voeren. A long ride in the car, but we still know this is a very beautiful place with marvelous walks. Click on the picture below to see more.

Hi all, Boss is very busy at work. All remaining time he has to use to make me happy. Result: the blog is kind of neglected. Meanwhile we had some walks with the ECB.

The "zeehondenwandeling". This is a really great event. +2000 dogs on the beach of De Haan. Even people without dogs should come and see this.

And some days ago we went to Westerlo. Very bad weather, but you know us, once we decide to go for a walk, we go for a walk!

1 September 2013

We went on vacation to Westerwald in Germany. A wonderful region. We stayed in a little village surrounded by woods. each day me and boss made a long walk. Meanwhile misses was reading a book or preparing marvelous tasting food for us. A perfect combination of activities, what do you think?

For people who like to go on vacation with their dog(s) this place is great. Just Google for "hause cornus" and you will find the place where we stayed. Owners are very (dog) friendly.

BBQ in Galmaarden

It took us a while, bet here we are again. Just to post some pictures of the Ecb-BBQ. I was a good dog, Boss was pleased to see my fighting behaviour was better than the months before. Not perfect, but better. (you have to start somewhere, and Boss did not expected it would be perfect)
There was a vet who has tested our eyes. Everything looks ok, except for some hairs not pointing in the right direction. But as long as they don't bother me, no action is needed.

Visit to my Mom

Last weekend we went to Mechernich, the place where it all started for me. Angelika was organizing a "wurftreffen", but all others members of the E-litter could not come. No problem, there are still Enya (my sister) and Mei-Mei (my mother) and of course Daron and the little Raya.

On Friday evening, we had our usual "belgian beer" evening. On saturday morning me and boss went for a walk and in the afternoon, Angelika has organised a little "Eurasier" walk. Birgit and Gina joined us with their dogs. Afterwards there was some time for "kaffee and kuche". In the evening Angelika prepared some very tasty pizza's. On Sunday morning, another walk with Angelika and her dogs and then we drove to Hoesselt to visit the sister of misses.

Conclusion : another great weekend in the wonderfull Eiffel.

3 Years 1 Month

I'm back for a little message. yesterday we (me and boss) went for a walk in Moen. No pictures, boss was too busy playing with his new GPS. He downloaded the walk and tried to find the way using this strange thing. So i could run free without receiving commands the whole time. At the end, boss understood how the thing is working, but we did a lot of "wrong" turns and "returns". Anyway, a the end we found the place where we left the car. So mission accomplished!

Another ECB walk. This time we went to Bazel. There were a lot of participants. looks like ECB has got a real boost. Afterwards there was a meeting. BORING!!!

3 years old !

I'm three years old. I received some "happy birthday" wishes from sisters and friends. For my birthday we went to xhoffraix in the belgium mountains (if this exists) with the eurasier club. 30 people and a lot of dogs in 1 house. Big fun and from time to time a little fight, but no injuries. Boss and Misses were happy with my behaviour. As usual, you can see the pictures by clicking the photo below.

First post of 2013. To all people reading this blog : happy new year!!! I know it is a while since i posted something. Boss is very busy the last months.
Not a lot of news. The festivities passed well. even firework cannot change my normal "cool" behavior. I just ask boss to let me outside so i can see what's happening. And once i know all is OK, i go back inside and no longer care about the noise.
This week it started snowing. This is something i like. All family members are complaining about the cold weather, but this is my cup of tea! I go outside and lay down in the snow for quite a long time. Boss can call me all he wants, i like the feeling of the snow on my belly.

With the ECB, no activity is scheduled in December. But in November we went to Bokrijk in Limburg. Again some new puppy members joined us. I still don't like these little creatures very much. Once they are real eurasiers, i will probably love the females and have some troubles with the males, but for the moment : not interested!

Another fine walk in "de Kempen -Wortel Kolonie". For the first time some of the new Belgian pups were present. They made a shorter walk. I'm not very interested in these strange dogs. They still have a lot of work before they will be full grown eurasiers. Find the pictures below.

And also some bad news. Boss and Misses are very sad for the moment. Bosses mother has passed away. I knew her pretty well. She was the nice women who petted me and always told me I was a very nice dog. So for the moment I'm trying to cheer up my people.

Almost 2 years 7 months

finally found some time to write something on the blog again.

This month we went out with the car quite a few times. First of all we went to Mechernich to meet Angelika and her dogs (My mother Mei-Mei, My sister Enya and the male dog Daron). We went to see Angelika again, but of course we wanted to see Enya's puppies as wel. After a (as usual) warm welcome, boss and Misses could see the pups, but i had to stay outsite. Enya would not let me in, she was protecting her pups... Anyway, boss told me the F-litter was great. All big and healthy Eurasier pups. Afterwards we went to the garden and the people had their obligatory "kaffee und kuche". We also went on a weekend trip to Malmedy with the colleagues of Boss. A whole weekend showing these people how beautifull i am, that was great. Everybody loved me and i was petted more than ever before. If one of them stopped petting, i went to another one. We also had a great walk. At the end of the weekend i was exhausted. I missed my little sleeping moments during the day...

Not yet finished! We also went to Ninove to see the Belgian pups. (10 of them !!)There i could enter the room and see the pups. They are already 7 weeks old, almost ready to leave their mom and to join their new owners. Thanks to MT & Anneleen for the great welcome. 2 years 6 months

Another great activity. The yearly eruasier BBQ. Normally we go to a farm in the Netherlands, but this year, this was not possible. So boss decided to organise the bbq in our dog school. See the picture below to have an impression.
There were a lot of male dogs, so boss had to keep an eye on me. Strange, all other eurasiers are best friends, but I have a lot of problems with the other males. So from time to time boss took me away from the others.

We also went on vacation to Laforet. Boss rented a little house for a week. Very beautiful region. Only forest and a river (the semois) around us. We walked and walked and walked, i had a good time. Me and boss even went canoeing on the semois. This was not easy. Me in the Canoe, Boss in the canoe, me out of the Canoe.... And this 10 times. But  once we could start, all went fine. If you look very good at the pictures, you can find me in the boat, but you have to look very carefully.

And we received great news from Mechernich. Angelika has a new litter! next week we go to germany to visit her and see the puppies!

2 years 5 months

Long time since i posted some news. All is well here. My chemical castration is no longer working, so I'm fully functional again. All bitches, be aware of this!
Meanwhile not a lot of things happened. School is not open for the moment, and a lot of people are on vacation. Boss is not. He still has to work for two weeks. But then he will have lots and lots of time to walk and play with me.
Och wait, i have some news. Boss has learned me how to run next to his bicycle. I will ask him to post a photo. That's  fun, and even better, now we can go a little further away from home, so i can walk in other parks and see a lot of other things. But he still has to pay attention. When i see a cat or another dog, i cannot really control myself. I want to go and say hello to them. So from time to time you see the bike going from one side of the street to the other side. Pretty dangerous don't you think? I think i will have to be a little more relaxed when I'm next to the bike :)

Another ECB walk. We went to Essene. Weather was fine. Not a lot of people present, but we had a good time. As usual, click on the picture below to see all photo's.

2 Years 2 months (still)

We went to  the Olmense Zoo with the ECB. Again a great event. At the start of the day, I was pretty relaxed, but you know me, the longer the day lasts, the more excited I become. By the end of the day, no other male eurasier was save anymore.

2 years and 2 month

Just home from Germany. Angelika has organized the second von der Linde wurftreffen! We were all present: mother Mei daughters Enya, Estrella, Elaine,  Engy and son Eros. Father Balu also planned to participate, but his boss is very ill, so he was not present. We all wish all the best to his boss!

Weather was not very good, but we are the von der Linde E-litter, this does not stop us.

Angelika again opened her house for us, so we all could stay there for the weekend.

Due to the weather, the BBQ was canceled, but our breeder was prepared, she made a delicious meal for us and we have enjoyed it inside her big house.

But now I'm going too fast. Let me give you a chronicle overview of the weekend.

On Friday we arrived in Mechernich around 17h00. Angelika gave us a warm welcome (as always) and we could install us in her "little" vacation house. I went for a walk in the Eiffel with boss and then the Belgian beer came on the table. Boss planned to eat spaghetti in the evening, but once the booze is in the (wo)man, they seem to forget a lot of things. So this time, they forgot to eat their super. Meanwhile Estrella arrived from Switzerland. They drove for 7 hours  to be there, great! Around 01h00 we went to bed.

On Saturday, we had breakfast and a morning walk, and boss and mistress finally ate the spaghetti.

In the afternoon, all other e-litter members arrived around 14h00. Some other eurasier friends also joined the meeting. A good walk all together in the beautiful Eiffel was followed by "kaffee und kuchen". Afterwards we went in the garden to play a little bit. In the evening we enjoyed super all together.

On Sunday, most of the gang went home pretty early, but I and Engy stayed to have a walk with Enya, Mei, Daron and the little Raya. After the obligatory kaffee und kuchen, we went home.

We went to Bazel (no, not in Switzerland) with the Ecb. Afterwards there was a meeting to elect the board again. Boring stuff. So i decide to have a little fight with another male eurasier. result : boss left the meeting and we went for another walk. Mission accomplished!

Still 23 months

So we went on a weekend with the ECB to Xhoffraix. it was very cold (at night -17 degrees!), but this has never stopped us before. We walked al lot (25 km) and I had a very good time outside. but inside the house, i made war with the other male eurasiers, so boss decided from time to time to put me in the bedroom. Not funny! 23 months, up to my second birthday

here I'm again. a lot of news, not all good.... Let's start with the bad things
I had some problems when i had to stay at home. Strange, before i was never afraid, but now, i panic when everybody is leaving. Boss tried to find an explanation, but this is really not easy. everybody has helped with advice, but it's still boss who has to make decision. So, for the moment I'm chemically castrated (will last for a month). This seems to solve a lot of problems, but not all of them. We will have to wait for some time...
But let's talk about the more funny things. Last weekend we went for a walk with the E.C.B. This time it was not a long drive. First we (well we, all humans), had breakfast, and then we could start. You can see some pictures below (click on the picture to see more)

And next weekend, we go to Xhoffraix for three days. Again with E.C.B. This is not far from the place i was born and guess what, Angelika will join us there together with my mother and sister. Great, can't wait to see them again.

22 months almost Christmas

Almost Christmas, time for some pictures. At school we had to work in the snow. Not easy to be focused, but on the pictures below you can see I managed to keep quiet long enough to make some photo's.

21 months

Yesterday we (again) went for a walk with the "Eurasier Club Belgie". This time we went to Heusden-Zolder. Weather was not very good (some rain), but this never stopped us before. Luckily for Boss only one other male dog was present, so even his walk was more relaxed than usually. Limburg is really a nice place to walk. After the (long) walk, we went to a pub to eat and drink, well let's say the humans were eating and drinking, the dogs were just laying down and resting, dreaming of the great day we had..

20 months

Long time since I posted something here. All is well. Meanwhile we went for a walk to Herentals with the E.C.B. Great walk, but a lot of male dogs. This means a lot of growls and from time to time a real fight. (Not only me, but I did my best!).

Last week Alexa and her bosses came to visit me at my home. This was no problem (she's female, and this is the kind of dog I like). We played a lot and bosses ate and talked a lot. Karine and Carl tried to tell us my behavior is normal for a male of my age, but misses is still not convinced.

Yesterday, i was at home with misses, but she was not paying attention. The door was open and I escaped. Misses has searched for me during almost 1 hour. I was not far away, but I managed to enter the the garden of our neighbours and I could not find the way out. So misses was searching the neighbourhood while I was just next door enjoying the garden :-) Anyway, once they found me, misses was not very pleased.
