10 months

Tomorrow I will become 10 months old.

Not a lot of news. 

Snow is still falling and i love it. Normally i like to stay into the house, but now I'm spending most of the time outside.

At school I'm still not the old Eros. Sometimes i work well, sometimes i don't listen at all. Boss does not like this, but i bet he will not stop loving me because of that.

9 Months 1 Week

Already 9 months old. Time goes fast!
A little update:
- puberty is diminishing. Still not 100 % but each day a little better.
- at school all is well again.
- eating is no longer a problem. (Boss feeds me grown up food now.) Must keep it like that, i need to gain some weight.
- my legs are healing (at last). Difficult to stop chewing on them!
- winter has arrived in Belgium. I played for the first time in the snow. No cold feet for me, i'm 1/3 samoyed! But for boss these are heavy times. He is freezing during our daily walk! But I don't allow him to take a shortcut. He has to go all the way, each time!

8 months 2 weeks

Hi all, long time ago.
Boss is very busy working. The time left he is walking or playing with me, so the blog has been neglected for a while.


What's new
- my legs are still not cured. each time they are nearly healed, i start chewing on them again.
- puberty is still in order, but from time to time i follow up an order again. So let's keep working on it.
- days are shortening, sometimes we have to walk in the dark. Strange, those shadows can really trigger me.
- I'm still not the best eater. My boss gives me three bowls with food every day, i only eat one, but I'm still in good shape (although not very fat)
- I can open doors!!! looking at the people i live with, i teached myself, now i can go into the garage without asking somebody to open the door. Great for me, but boss has a new problem.....

I will ask boss to add some pictures again!

7 months 3 weeks

We had a fantastic weekend.

On friday we went to Mechernich to see my mom and my sister Enya. We were very pleased to see Frau Koller again. Concerning my mom, see was no longer interested, Enya on the other hand still liked me. We went for a little walk and had “Kaffee und Apfelkuchen“. Below you can find some pictures of me and my sister.

Afterwards we drove to stadskyll. The people my boss always works with were there to have a team building weekend. I really liked it in the Eifel. 32 people begging to pet me! We played some team building games, but most of the time we were walking (together with a lot of people or me and boss together, I don’t care, as long as I could walk in the forest.)
By the time it was Saturday evening I was exhausted, but after a good night sleep, I was ready for action again.

On Sunday, we went to Hoesselt to see the sister of my mistress and her family. Again a lot of people prepared to pet me. I love it!

7 months 1 week

We participated to the doggy walk in "De Haan". We were there together with the Belgian eurasier club and almost 1800 other dogs. Big event and lots of fun. I was exhausted! After a while, my boss took me from the beach, he thought I was too tired. Afterwards we ate in a little restaurant together with my eurasier friends. As usual no problem.

I also went to the vet again. Seems I have some king of allergy, but they still have to find out what's wrong with me. I'm itching so I have bitten and licked my leg too much. Now there are some hot spots on my leg.

I'm still feeling the influence of this damn puberty. Listening to my boss and obey his commands are still very difficult to me. There is always something else that needs my attention. I do my best, but I don't think this is enough. But don't worry, we (me and my boss) are working on it.
 

My family bought me a new pillow. The old one was becoming too small. But you know me, I love the usual things, so until now I refuse to use this new thing. From time to time I have a look at it, but sleeping on it? No way.

7 months

Today i became 7 months. A lot is changing now, and it is changing fast!
Puberty strikes!!!
At home, I'm still (a little) obedient, but outsite and at school, I'm testing my boss. He thinks I no longer understand the commands, but I know better, I'm just testing if I really have to do what he asks.
So for the moment, even a simple "sit" is really difficult to get. He has to earn it (???).
If I had to redo the tests at school i would no longer reach 177 points, i think this would rather be 7 points.
But they keep telling my boss this is normal...

In the coming weeks, the agenda is well filled. Next weekend we go for a walk with school on saturday and on sunday we go to the sea with the eaursier club. Two weeks later we go for a weekend in Germany. And guess what, my boss promised me to stop at the house where i was born. I will see my mother Mei-mei and my sister Enya. I will also meet Angelika and her family again. I can't wait to meet them. I will ask my boss to take a "family photo" of part of the von der Linde gang.

6 months 2 weeks

Back again. I have some pictures of the puppy school.

We did a little competition between all pups and guess what : i won this contest! (result : 177 on the possible 180 points, two out of the three lost points were not my fault, the boss was making some mistakes)

6 months old

Hi, time goes fast! meanwhile i became 6 months old. 

Yesterday we went to the "Belgium eurasier BBQ". 

As soon as i arrived, the alfa dog showed me my place. I was really scared. It took me half an hour to recover. But afterwards i found my friends and we really played a lot together. Now i know (again) not all dogs like me being the boss. Lesson learned!

Weather was bad, a lot of rain. Look at me when I arrived.

24 weeks

Hi, finally found some time to post some pictures. Meanwhile i changed most of my teeth and lost most of my puppy hair. I'm still growing very fast.

5 Months old!

I became 5 months old! What an evolution have a made since i was born.

- moved from Germany to Belgium
- from 4 kg to 17 kg.
- from a little and ignorant puppy to a young and confident eurasier.

Some strange things are happening to me.
I'm loosing my hair, i'm loosing my teeth. For a human, this means he gets old (look at my boss), but for me it seems normal. It only means i will start looking (and acting) like a real eurasier.

20 weeks

I'm back!! I know I did not post any news during the last weeks. Sorry for that. I think my boss will no longer post every week, but he has promised me to keep updating the blog from time to time. Meanwhile everything is fine here. I'm changing from bomber dog into an obedient dog. (From time to time, I still play bomber dog, but this is just because I keep forgetting I’m in fact a quiet dog). It’s very hot for the moment, but my bosses gave me a little bath to play in, and be sure, I like the water. Well, see you next time and don't forget to keep smiling!

17 weeks

Hi all, here I'm again. Not a lot of news. At school all is well. At home, all is well. I try to please the people i live with, but from time to time i make a mistake. luckily they understand I'm still a puppy, and i still have to learn a lot of things.Tomorrow i will be exactly 4 months old.

16 weeks

And yes, we went to the "Belgian Eurasier Walk" in Laarne. We met very nice people and very nice dogs. We saw the Castle of Laarne and during the walk we could run (without leash) and play. For me, the walk was too long, i only walked half of it. Afterwards we went to the restaurant (unbelievable, 6 grown up dogs and 1 puppy in the restaurant, and everything was quiet!). Next time we will participate again for sure.
It's not easy to take pictures of playing dogs, but below, you can see the best my boss could do. (And "best", is not very good if you ask me).

15 weeks

This week I went to the vet again. 12,5 kg, what do you think, not bad I think.

I finally can stay in the house during the whole night. My bosses no longer need to go outside with me.

Next week I go for a walk with the Belgian eurasier club. I'm looking forward to meet the Belgian eurasiers. I promise I will ask my boss to take some pictures.

Oh, almost forgotten. Angelika, I’m proud to tell you both ears are straight up! The left one took a month longer than the right one, but it's up!

14 Weeks

I'm growing and growing and growing, but i still follow the weight tables, so all is well. Again some pictures of me...

13 Weeks

Yesterday we went to the sea. A lot of sand and a lot of water. Bad water, tastes very salty. They say an eurasier is not really fond of water, but i am!

12 weeks

12 weeks old, already 4 weeks in Belgium. I'm developing fine. Some things could be better. (that's what my bosses say, I have no idea what they are referring to, but maybe they don't like me eating the blankets!). My moose is almost completely destroyed, give me some more time, and it will be really completely broken. This week we will go to the vet again, i need some more vaccines.
We also went to a dog show (obedience). Whaw, these dogs really do what their bosses tell them to do. I don't think i will ever be as good as some of them are.

11 weeks

Another week has passed. School is a good thing for me. I already know how to "sit" and "come", now I'm learning to walk as a good eurasier should walk. As long as I receive a goody afterwards, I will do my best to please my little mistress. At home everything is going fine. I'm quiet during the day, but once everybody is at home, i start my "bombing" activity. Sometimes my owners can laugh with it, sometimes they don't laugh at all. I will try to figure out why, but this is not easy.

10 weeks

Hi, here I'm again. Ten weeks old and in very good shape. I went to school for the first time, and i must say, the first lesson was not really funny. I had to do things i did not understand and i was not allowed to play with the others dogs as much as i liked. No problem, the second lesson was a lot better.  At home I'm much more alive than two weeks ago. I still sleep during the day, but not the whole day long. The periods of "bomber moments" become longer and more intense.
Yesterday we went to a little festival in Heule. A lot of noise, and a big crowd, but again no problem for me. I kept my usual cool.

Today we received my official papers from Germany. Thanks Angelika.

9 weeks

Here I am again. First week in Heule. Almost everything OK (?). I have started with the first tests. Two times a day, for half an hour, nothing is safe for me, but my owners are not always pleased with my tricks. Luckily they give me enough time to learn what's good and what's bad. I'm learning, but they have a full time job helping me. Thursday I went to the vet, everything is fine with me. Next week, i will go to the dog school. I can't wait to learn all those new things.

8 weeks

I'm in Belgium!. My german friends gave a lot of advice to my new owners, with sadness they saw me leave to my new home in Belgium. Three hours later (sitting in the car is no problem to me) we arrived at my new home. And this new home is fantastic! All those new smels, all those new, unknown things. At night i was exhausted. My first night here was no problem. I slept from 23:00 to 05:00, then i waked my mistress, i had to go! and it was urgent! Afterwards i slept until 07:00. No dirt in the house, everything on the right place (meaning outsite). I'm really a fine eurasier.

Eros is expected in Belgium.

7 weeks

This week i played a lot and discovered many new things.
